用量 |
Tab/granules Ulcerative colitis Adult Up to 4 g/day in divided doses. Maintenance: 1.5-2 g/day in divided doses. Children 20-30 mg/kg/day in divided doses. Supp Ulcerative proctitis Adult 1 supp once-bid. |

View Pentasa[頗得斯安] overdosage for action to be taken in the event of an overdose. |

用法 |
May be taken with or without food (Tab: Swallow whole, do not chew/crush. If necessary, tab may be halved along score-line or suspended in water/juice immediately before use. Granule: Empty the contents of the sachet onto the tongue and wash down w/ water/juice. Swallow granules whole, do not chew/crush.). |

Category B: Either animal-reproduction studies have not demonstrated a foetal risk but there are no controlled studies in pregnant women or animal-reproduction studies have shown an adverse effect (other than a decrease in fertility) that was not confirmed in controlled studies in women in the 1st trimester (and there is no evidence of a risk in later trimesters). |

禁忌 |
Sensitivity to salicylates. Severe hepatic or renal disease. |

注意事項 |
Patient allergic to sulfasalazine. Renal & hepatic impairment. Pregnancy & lactation. Children < 2 years. Monitor renal function during initial phase of treatment. Mesalazine-induced cardiac hypersensitivity reactions. Concomitant treatment with patients receiving azathioprine or 6-mercaptopurine. |

Diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain, headache, vomiting, rash, hypersensitivity reactions.
