Treatment of erectile dysfunction. |

用量 |
Adult 10 mg approximately 25-60 mins before sexual activity. Max: 20 mg once daily. A max dose of 5 mg should not be exceeded when used in combination with an α-blocker, erythromycin, ketoconazole or itraconazole. Starting dose of 5 mg is recommended for elderly (≥ 65 years). |

Category B: Either animal-reproduction studies have not demonstrated a foetal risk but there are no controlled studies in pregnant women or animal-reproduction studies have shown an adverse effect (other than a decrease in fertility) that was not confirmed in controlled studies in women in the 1st trimester (and there is no evidence of a risk in later trimesters). |

禁忌 |
Coadministration with nitrates or nitric oxide donors. Concomitant use of vardenafil with HIV protease inhibitors such as indinavir or ritonavir. |

注意事項 |
Left ventricular outflow obstruction, congenital QT prolongation or those taking Class IA (e.g. quinidine, procainamide) or Class III (e.g. amiodarone, sotalol) antiarrhythmic medications. Patients with anatomical deformation of the penis or with conditions which may predispose them to priapism. Severe hepatic impairment, endstage renal disease requiring dialysis, hypotension, recent history of stroke or MI, unstable angina & known hereditary degenerative retinal disorders. Avoid use within 6 hr of α-blockers (with the exception of tamsulosin). A max dose of 5 mg should not be exceeded if used in combination with erythromycin, ketoconazole & itraconazole. Avoid concomitant use with grapefruit juice. Bleeding disorders or active peptic ulceration. |
