適應症 |
Prevention of urothelial toxicity due to oxazaphosphorines |

用量 |
IV Adult Usually given at 20% of the dose of oxazaphosphorine at 0, 4 & 8 hr after administration of oxazaphosphorine. Children Dose given shorter intervals (eg. 3 hr), total dose equiv to 60% of oxazaphosphorine dose. With very high-dose cytostatic therapy, total dose can be increased to 120-160% of the oxazaphosphorine dose. Recommended that after administration of 20% Uromitexan at time zero, the remaining calculated dose should be given continuously IV over a period of 24 hr with a perfusor. Alternatively, an intermittent bolus injection is possible: Adult 3 x 40% (at times 0, 4, 8 hr) or 4 x 40% (at times 0, 3, 6, 9 hr), respectively. Children Due to more frequent micturition, the bolus injections should always be given in 3-hr intervals (eg, 20% at times 0, 1, 3, 6, 9, 12 hr). |

Category B: Either animal-reproduction studies have not demonstrated a foetal risk but there are no controlled studies in pregnant women or animal-reproduction studies have shown an adverse effect (other than a decrease in fertility) that was not confirmed in controlled studies in women in the 1st trimester (and there is no evidence of a risk in later trimesters). |

GI effects, headache, malaise, limb & joint pains, hypotension, tachycardia, skin rash, fatigue, asthenia. Hypersensitivity reactions rare).
