Per L Kabiven Peripheral Amino acids 24 g, nitrogen 3.8 g, fat 35 g, glucose (dextrose) 68 g, Na 22 mmol, K 17 mmol, Mg 2.8 mmol, Ca 1.4 mmol, phosphate 7.5 mmol, sulphate 2.8 mmol, Cl 32 mmol, acetate 27 mmol. non- protein. Energy: 720 kcal.
適應症	Parenteral nutrition for adults & children > 2 years when oral or enteral nutrition is impossible, insufficient or contraindicated.
用量	*Adult* Individualized dosage. Nitrogen requirements in the normal nutritional state or in mild metabolic stress 0.1-0.15 g nitrogen/kg/day. Nitrogen requirements in moderate to high metabolic stress with or without malnutrition 0.15-0.3 g nitrogen/kg/day. Usual dose: 0.1-0.2 g nitrogen/kg/day for majority of the patients which corresponds to 19-38 mL Kabiven/kg body weight/day. 0.1-0.15 g/kg/day corresponds to approximately 27-40 mL Kabiven Peripheral/kg/day. *Children 2-10 years* 12.5-25 mL Kabiven/kg & increased by 10-15 mL/kg/day up to max 40 mL/kg/day.14-28 mL Kabiven Peripheral/kg & increased by 10-15 mL/kg/day up to max 40 mL/kg/day.
禁忌	Hypersensitivity to egg or soy protein; severe hyperlipidemia; severe liver insufficiency; severe blood coagulation disorders; inborn errors of amino acid metabolism; severe renal insufficiency without hemofiltration or dialysis; acute shock; hyperglycemia requiring > 6 units insulin/hr; pathologically elevated serum electrolyte levels; hemophagocytotic syndrome; unstable conditions (eg, severe post-traumatic conditions, uncompensated diabetes, acute MI, metabolic acidosis, severe sepsis & hyperosmolar coma); infants < 2 years.
注意事項	Monitor ability to eliminate fat. Serum concentration of triglycerides should not exceed 3 mmol/L during infusion. Renal insufficiency, uncompensated DM, pancreatitis, impaired liver function, hypothyroidism (with hypertriglyceridemia) & sepsis. Serum glucose, electrolytes & osmolarity, fluid balance, acid-base status & liver enzyme tests should be monitored. Blood cell count & coagulation should be monitored when fat is given for a longer period. Metabolic acidosis, lactic acidosis, insufficient cellular oxygen supply & increased serum osmolarity. Patients with a tendency towards electrolyte retention. In patients with hyperglycemia, administration of exogenous insulin might be necessary.
