適應症	Treatment of patients with type 2 DM not adequately controlled on metformin alone, or vildagliptin alone, or who are already treated with the combination of vildagliptin & metformin
用量	*Adult* Initially either 50 mg/850 mg or 50 mg/1000 mg bid. Daily recommended dose: 100 mg vildagliptin & 2 g metformin HCl.
用法	Should be taken with food (Take w/ or immediately after meals to reduce GI discomfort.).
禁忌	Diabetic ketoacidosis with or without coma. Renal disease or renal dysfunction (CrCL < 60 mL/min). Acute conditions with the potential to alter renal function eg, dehydration, severe infection, shock, intravascular administration of iodinated contrast agents. Acute or chronic disease which may cause tissue hypoxia eg, cardiac or respiratory failure, recent MI, shock. Hepatic impairment. Acute alcohol intoxication, alcoholism. Pregnancy, lactation.
注意事項	Type 1 diabetes. Discontinue treatment when metabolic acidosis is suspected. Monitor creatinine concentration regularly. Avoid use in patients with hepatic impairment, including those with pre-treatment ALT or AST >3 x ULN. Liver enzyme monitoring should be performed prior to initiation of treatment. Caution use in CHF of NYHA functional class I-II. Avoid use in CHF of NYHA functional class III-IV. Monitor for skin disorders eg blistering or ulceration. teatment should be discontinued 48 hr before elective surgery with general anesth & should not usually be resumed earlier than 48 hr afterwards. Discontinued prior to, or at the time of, the radiological test using iodinated contrast agents & not reinstituted until 48 hrs afterwards, & only after renal function has been re-eva luated & found to be normal.
