適應症 |
Patients at increased CV risk due to the presence of 2 modifiable risk factors HTN & dyslipidemia; &/or patients with increased CV risk due to the presence of symptomatic CHD expressed as angina with an additional modifiable risk factor of dyslipidemia. |

用量 |
Dosage range of amlodipine/atorvastatin: 5 mg/10 mg to a max dose of 10 mg/80 mg once daily. |

Category X: Studies in animals or human beings have demonstrated foetal abnormalities or there is evidence of foetal risk based on human experience or both, and the risk of the use of the drug in pregnant women clearly outweighs any possible benefit. The drug is contraindicated in women who are or may become pregnant. |

禁忌 |
Active liver disease or unexplained persistent elevations of serum transaminases >3x the upper limit of normal. Pregnancy, lactation or women of childbearing potential who are not using adequate contraceptive measures. |

注意事項 |
Heart failure, impaired hepatic function. Perform liver function tests before initiating treatment & periodically thereafter. Patient who consume substantial quantities of alcohol &/or have a history of liver disease. Discontinue drug if markedly elevated CPK levels occur or myopathy is diagnosed or suspected. Acute, serious condition suggestive of myopathy or risk factor predisposing to development of renal failure secondary to rhabdomyolysis. |

不良反應 |
Amlodipine: Flushing, fatigue, edema, dizziness, headache, abdominal pain, nausea, palpitations, somnolence. Atorvastatin: Insomnia, headache, GI disturbances, myalgia, asthenia.

交互作用 |
Risk of myopathy increased with concurrent administration of cyclosporin, fibric acid derivatives, erythromycin, azole antifungals or niacin. Decreased atorvastatin plasma conc w/ oral antacid susp containing Mg & Al hydroxides, & colestipol. Increases steady-state plasma digoxin concentration. Increases atorvastatin plasma concentration with erythromycin & clarithromycin & protease inhibitors. Increases AUC values for norethindrone & ethinylestradiol.
