Dosage |
Childn >6 yr Individualised dosage. May be adjusted in 18-mg increments up to a max of 54 mg/day. To be taken in the morning.

Overdosage |
View Concerta overdosage for action to be taken in the event of an overdose. |
Administration |
May be taken with or without food (Swallow whole, do not divide/chew/crush.). |
Contraindications |
Marked anxiety, tension, agitation, glaucoma, history or diagnosis of Tourette's syndrome. Concurrent therapy with MAOIs. Childn <6 yr.

Special Precautions |
eva luate patients for tics prior to treatment. Monitor childn requiring long-term treatment for growth suppression. Not for treatment of severe depression &/or prevention or treatment of normal fatigue states. Psychotic patients. HTN. History of drug dependence or alcoholism, seizures or prior EEG abnormalities. Monitor hematologic parameters on prolonged therapy.

Pregnancy Category (US FDA) |
