Overdosage |

Administration |
Should be taken on an empty stomach (Swallow whole, do not chew/crush.). |

Contraindications |
Narrow-angle glaucoma or urinary retention, MAOI therapy, severe HTN, or severe CAD.

Special Precautions |
HTN, DM, ischemic heart disease, increased IOP, hyperthyroidism, renal impairment or prostatic hypertrophy. CNS stimulation w/ convulsions or CV collapse w/ accompanying hypotension may occur. The tan hard shell of the tab may be found in the feces in a form that may resemble the original tab.

Adverse Drug Reactions |
Headache, insomnia, nausea, dry mouth, dyspepsia, throat irritation, dizziness, agitation, back pain, palpitation, nervousness, anxiety, upper resp infection & abdominal pain.

MAOIs. Antihypertensive drugs eg methyldopa, mecamylamine & reserpine; digitalis.

Pregnancy Category (US FDA) |
Category C: Either studies in animals have revealed adverse effects on the foetus (teratogenic or embryocidal or other) and there are no controlled studies in women or studies in women and animals are not available.
