Indications |

Dosage |
Adult Once-daily inhalation of 150 mcg at the same time of the day each day; may be increased up to max 300 mcg once daily on medical advice.

Special Precautions |
Discontinue immediately if paradoxical bronchospasm occurs. CV disorders (CAD, acute MI, cardiac arrhythmias, HTN), convulsive disorders or thyrotoxicosis. May produce significant hypokalaemia & hyperglycaemia. Childn <18 yr. Pregnancy, lactation.

Adverse Drug Reactions |
Nasopharyngitis, upper resp tract infection, sinusitis, cough, oropharyngeal pain, rhinorrhoea, muscle spasm, myalgia, musculoskeletal pain, peripheral oedema, chest pain, ischaemic heart disease, DM & hyperglycaemia, dry mouth.

Drug Interactions |
MAOIs, TCA, drugs that prolong QT interval may potentiate effect on QT interval. Other sympathomimetics may potentiate AR. Methylxanthine derivatives, steroids or non-K-sparing diuretics may potentiate hypokalaemic effect. β-adrenergic blockers (including eye drops) may weaken/antagonise effect.
