Indications |
Multiple myeloma, advanced ovarian adenocarcinoma or neuroblastoma in childhood, localized malignant myeloma or soft tissue sarcoma. |

Dosage |
Multiple myeloma 0.4 mg/kg body wt repeated at appropriate intervals eg once every 4 wk. Advanced ovarian adenocarcinoma 1 mg/kg body wt given at 4-wk intervals. Advanced neuroblastoma in childhood 100-240 mg/m2 BSA. |

Hypersensitivity. Lactation. |

Special Precautions |
Should not be given to patients on radiotherapy or other cytotoxic agents. Monitor blood counts. Renal impairment. Pregnancy. |
|
Adverse Drug Reactions |
Bone marrow suppression, GI effects. Occasionally, maculopapular rash & pruritus. Urticaria, edema, anaphylactic shock, cardiac arrest (rare), pulmonary fibrosis, hemolytic anemia, alopecia.
