Indications |
Albumin replacement in patients w/ albumin & blood vol deficiency. Hypovolemia, hypoproteinemia, burns, hyperbilirubinemia, resp distress syndrome, cardiopulmonary bypass, nephrotic syndrome. |

Dosage |
Individualize dosage according to patient size, severity of trauma or illness & on continuing fluid & protein losses. By IV infusion only. Max administration time: 3 hr. |

Contraindications |
Hypersensitivity to human albumin, hypervolemia & its consequences. |

Special Precautions |
Allergic reaction (discontinue use). |

Drug Interactions |
Do not mix w/ other drugs, whole blood, packed red cells or w/ other soln which may cause protein precipitation.
