是一种短效注射用麻醉药。本品用于诱导麻醉，通常与芬太尼联合用于预防肌肉痉挛

功能主治：
全身麻醉诱导（短期麻醉须与镇痛药合用）。　　
用法及用量：
成人：150-300ug/kg体重，静注，15岁以下儿童和老年人150-200ug/kg体重，静注。肝硬化病人和曾用精神抑制药的病人须减少剂量。　　
不良反应和注意：
一次性剂量可使肾上腺皮质对紧张刺激的反应明显减慢约4-6小时。持续使用本药可能出现暂时性肾上腺皮质功能低下。没有接受过适当前驱给药的病人，使用单剂量后可能出现肌阵挛。偶有恶心，呕吐。一些病例可能出现咳嗽、呃逆和寒颤。个别病例可出现喉痉挛。大剂量使用本药或与中枢神经抑制剂合用时，偶见短暂呼吸暂停。
