作用机制
头孢克肟是一种半合成头孢菌素抗菌药[见微生物学]。
适应症和用法
SUPRAX（头孢克肟）是一种头孢菌素抗菌药物，适用于6个月及以上成人和儿童患者的治疗，感染率如下：
无并发症的尿路感染。
中耳炎。
咽炎和扁桃体炎。
慢性支气管炎急性加重期。
无并发症淋病（宫颈/尿道）。
为了减少耐药细菌的发展并保持SUPRAX和其他抗菌药物的有效性，SUPRAX应仅用于治疗已被证实或强烈怀疑由细菌引起的感染。
剂量和给药
成人：每日400毫克。
儿科患者（6个月及以上）：8mg/kg/天。
剂量形式和强度
薄膜包衣，评分片剂：400毫克。
胶囊：400毫克。
咀嚼片：100mg，150mg和200mg。
口服混悬液：100mg/5mL，200mg/5mL和500mg/5mL。
禁忌症
对已知对头孢克肟或其他头孢菌素过敏的患者禁用。
警告和注意事项
头孢克肟已经报道了包括休克和死亡在内的过敏反应。如果发生反应，请停止使用。
艰难梭菌相关性腹泻：评估腹泻是否发生。
苯丙酮尿症（PKU）患者的风险：在给患有PKU的患者开出SUPRAX咀嚼片之前，考虑来自所有来源的苯丙氨酸的每日总量，包括SUPRAX咀嚼片。
不良反应
最常见的不良反应是胃肠道，如腹泻（16％），恶心（7％），稀便（6％），腹痛（3％），消化不良（3％）和呕吐。

药物相互作用
在同时给予头孢克肟的上市后经验中报道了升高的卡马西平水平。
  当头孢克肟与华法林和抗凝剂同时给药时，有或没有临床出血的凝血酶原时间增加。
用于特定人群
怀孕：只有在明确需要时才应在怀孕期间使用头孢克肟。
护理母亲：应考虑在头孢克肟治疗期间暂时停止护理。
儿童：尚未确定6个月以下婴儿的疗效和安全性。
老年人使用：临床研究未包括足够数量的65岁及以上的受试者，以确定他们的反应是否与年轻受试者不同。其他报道的临床经验尚未发现老年患者和年轻患者之间的反应差异。
肾损伤：头孢克肟可以在肾功能受损的情况下施用。肌酐清除率低于60mL/min的患者需要调整剂量。

Suprax Cefixime
Suprax is the brand name of cefixime and marketed by Rhone-Poulenc Rorer. The orally administered antibiotic belongs to the class of cephalosporins, which interfere with the bacteria’s ability to form cell walls. This process causes them to break up and die. Cefixime is prescribed against infections of the ears or the respiratory tract as well as for the treatment of gonorrhoea, a common sexually transmitted disease.
Suprax is generally well tolerated, however it should be used with caution in patients allergic to penicillin. If you use hormonal contraception, please note that this drug might reduce the effectiveness of the combined oral contraceptive pill so you should use another means of contraception while being treated with cefixime.
To treat a gonorrhoea infection, Suprax cefixime 400mg is taken as a one-off dose. Swallow all prescribed tablets at the same time, preferrably with a small glass of water. Do not chew them.
Potential side-effects
Like any medication, cefixime may produce side effects. These can include diarrhoea, tummy pains, nausea, vomiting headache, hyperactivity, nervousness, problems sleeping, confusion, muscle tightness or dizziness.
Unsuitable patients
You shouldn't request this treatment if you're allergic to any of the ingredients which are listed in the patient leaflet. Please inform your prescribing doctor:
•If you are pregnant, trying for a baby, or breast-feeding
•If you suffer from liver or kidney problems
•If you have ever had an allergic reaction to this medicine, penicillin antibiotics or any other medicine
•If you are taking any other medicines, including those available to buy without a prescription, herbal or complementary medicines
