Effects of this medicine
This medicine is a cefem antibiotic, which inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis to exert an antibacterial effect.
It is usually used to treat a wide range of infections such as blood infection, respiratory infection, urinary tract infection, gastrointestinal infection and gynecological infection.

Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist

If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
If you or your family has the predisposition to allergic symptoms such as bronchial asthma, rash and hives; have renal disorder; are in a poor oral feeding state, in a parenteral nutrition state or in a poor general condition.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

In general, for adults, this medicine is injected intravenously or administered by intravenous infusion over a period of 1 to 2 hours in 2 divided doses a day. In general, for children, this medicine is injected intravenously or administered by intravenous infusion over a period of 1 to 2 hours in 3 to 4 divided doses a day. To treat sepsis and intractable or severe infection, for adults, this medicine is injected in 3 to 4 divided doses a day.

The treatment period with this medicine is determined based on your symptoms.

Relax and stay still while receiving drip infusion.

Precautions while taking this medicine

Facial flushes, palpitation, dizziness, headache and nausea may occur due to alcohol ingestion. Avoid drinking alcohol during the period of treatment with this medicine and for at least 1 week thereafter.

Possible adverse reactions to this medicine
The most commonly reported adverse reactions include liver dysfunction, rash, eruption, redness, itching, diarrhea, nausea and fever. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.

Storage conditions and other information
