Effects of this medicine

Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist

• If you ever experienced any allergic reaction (itch, rash etc.) to any medicine.
  If you have glaucoma.
  If you are in early recovery period of myocardial infarction.
  If you have dysuria or ocular hypertension, etc.
  If you have cardiac disorders such as heart failure, myocardial infarction, angina pectoris or arrhythmia (e.g., paroxysmal tachycardia, disturbance of conduction system), or hyperthyroidism.
  If you have or have a history of convulsive disorders such as epilepsy.
  If you have manic-depressive psychosis.
  If you have or have a history of suicidal thought.
  If you have a history of suicide attempt.
  If you are predisposed to an organic brain disorder or schizophrenia.
  If you have a highly impulsive comorbid disorder.

• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

• If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)

• Your dosing schedule prescribed by your doctor is <<        to be written by a healthcare professional>>

• General dosage regimen: Take 1-3 capsules (25-75 mg of the active ingredient) in one to several doses per day. If it is not effective enough, the dosage may be gradually increased up to 6 capsules (150 mg) per day. If your symptom is serious, it also may be increased up to 12 capsules (300 mg) per day. Strictly follow the instructions of your doctor/pharmacist.

• If you miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. DO NOT take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.

• If you took too much of this medicine (more than ordered), check with your doctor/pharmacist.

• Do not stop taking this medicine without the instructions of your doctor.

Precautions while taking this medicine

• This medicine may cause drowsiness, and lack of attention, concentration and reflex action ability. Do not operate dangerous machinery such as driving a car or work at heights while taking this medicine.
• Pay attention to the fact that drinking alcohol may intensify the adverse effect of this medicine.

Possible adverse effects of this medicine

• akinetic mutism (immobility), dysphagia (difficulty in swallowing), tachycardia (fast pulse)[malignant syndrome]
• convulsive muscle contraction, impaired mind, audio-visual experience of something that does not exist[convulsion, mental confusion, hallucination, delusion]
• fever, pain in the throat, flu-like symptoms[agranulocytosis]
• loss of appetite, nausea, severe constipation[adynamic ileus]
• involuntary movement of the surrounding mouth (taking the tongue in and out), continuous chewing movement[tardive dyskinesia]

Storage conditions and other information

• Keep out of the reach of children. Store away from direct sunlight, heat and humidity.
•  Discard the remainder. Do not store them. If you dispose of unused medicines, seek advice of your pharmacist about proper disposal of drugs.
