Effects of this medicine
This medicine acts on vascular smooth muscles in peripheral arterioles directly, and dilates blood vessels to lower blood pressure.
It is usually used to treat essential hypertension or hypertension due to toxemia of pregnancy.

If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
If you are a patient with ischemic heart disease, heart failure, tachycardia, dissecting aortic aneurysm, acute phase of brain bleeding.

In general, for adults,start with taking 0.1 g (10 mg of the active ingredient) at a time,3-4 times a day. Then the dose is increased stepwise according to the blood pressure response. The maintenance dose for adults is usually 0.2-0.5 g (20-50 mg) at a time, 0.3-2 g (30-200 mg) a day. The dosage should be adjusted according to the age or symptoms.Strictly follow the instructions.

If you miss a dose, take a dose as soon as possible. However, if it is 3 hours or less before the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.

If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.

Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.

Precautions while taking this medicine

The medicine may cause dizziness etc., since the blood pressure is decreased. Pay attention when you drive a car, or operate dangerous machinery.

Possible adverse effects of this medicine
The most commonly reported adverse reactions include tachycardia, hot flushes, nausea, vomiting, headache, jaundice, rash ,fever and purpura, etc. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse effects indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
