Effects of this medicine
This medicine have analgesic, sedative, and especially, centrally-acting antitussive action by acting the central nerve, etc, and consequently relieve a cough, pain or diarrhea.
Usually, used for cough relief/sedation in respiratory depression, analgesia, or improvement of diarrhea.

Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist

If you ever experienced any allergic reaction (itch, rash etc.) to any medicine.
If you are in a convulsive state, have acute alcoholism, hemorrhagic colitis, bacterial diarrhea or organic brain disorder, are in a shock state, have metabolic acidosis or a history of drug dependence, are debilitated, have urinary disturbance or gastrointestinal disorder, are immediately after a gastrointestinal surgery, or have respiratory disorder such as bronchial asthma, liver disorder, renal disorder, cardiac dysfunction, gallbladder disorder, thyroid disorder or adrenocortical insufficiency.

Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)

General dosage regimen: For adults, take 1 g (10 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, three times a day. The dosage should be adjusted according to your disease, age and symptoms. Strictly follow the instructions of your doctor/pharmacist.

If you missed a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. If there is less than 4 hours to the next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next dose at your regular time. DO NOT take double doses to make up for the missed dose.

If you took too much of the medicine (more than ordered), check with your doctor/pharmacist.

Do not stop taking the medicine without the instructions of your doctor.

Precautions while taking this medicine

This medicine may cause drowsiness/dizziness. Do not operate dangerous machinery such as driving a car.

Alcohol drinking may give rise to respiratory depression, hypotension, sedation or coma. Therefore, caution should be exercised when drinking alcohol.

Possible adverse effects of this medicine
Common side effects are reported as below. If any of them occurs, check with your doctor/pharmacist: arrhythmia, blood pressure fluctuation, hot flush, drowsiness, dizziness, vision disorder, sweating, nausea, vomiting, constipation, rash, itching, urinary disturbance, etc.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse effects indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.

Storage conditions and other information
