Indications |
Temporary replacement & supplement for synovial fluid for patients in all stages of joint pathology. Treatment of pain associated w/ OA of the knee, hip, ankle & shoulder. |

Dosage |
IA inj only. OA of the knee 3 inj in the knee, 1 wk apart. Max: 6 inj w/in 6 mth, w/ min 4 wk between treatment regimens. OA of the hip, ankle, shoulder Initially, 1 single inj. A 2nd inj may be given 1-3 mth after the 1st inj if adequate symptomatic relief is not achieved. |

Contraindications |
Venous or lymphatic stasis in relevant limb, infected or severely inflamed joints, skin diseases or infections in the area of the inj site. |

Special Precautions |
Do not inj intravascularly, extra-articularly or into synovial tissues or capsule. Avoid use if there is large IA effusion. Hypersensitivity to avian protein. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn <18 yr. |

Adverse Drug Reactions |
Transient pain &/or swelling &/or effusion at the injected joint.

Do not use concomitantly w/ quaternary ammon salts for skin prep.
