Indications |
Temporary replacement & supplement for synovial fluid for patients in all stages of joint pathology. Treatment of pain associated w/ OA of the knee. |

Dosage |
IA inj only. OA of the knee 1 inj in the knee. May be repeated 6 mth after the 1st inj if justified by the patient's symptoms. |

Contraindications |
Venous or lymphatic stasis in relevant limbs, infected or severely inflamed joints, skin diseases or infections in the area of the inj site. |
|
Special Precautions |
Do not inj intravascularly, extra-articularly or into synovial tissues or capsule. Avoid use if there is large IA effusion. Hypersensitivity to avian protein. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn <18 yr. |

Adverse Drug Reactions |
Transient pain &/or swelling &/or effusion at the injected joint.

Drug Interactions |
Do not use concomitantly w/ quaternary ammon salts for skin prep.
