Precautions while taking this medicine
•Strictly adhere to dietary instructions given and to kinesitherapy prescribed.
•The medicine may cause you to have hypoglycemic symptoms such as dizziness or light-headedness. Pay attention when you drive, work at heights, or operate dangerous machinery while taking it.
•If you have hypoglycemic symptoms, take glucose not sucrose or something containing enough glucose such as soft drink.
Possible adverse reactions to this medicine
Common side effects are reported as below.If any of them occurs, check with your doctor/pharmacist: symptoms of hypoglycemia, enlarged feeling of abdomen, numbness, abdominal pain, increased flatus, weight increase, etc.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
•pressured feeling or constrictive pain in chest, cold sweat[myocardial infarction]
•dizziness, abnormal craving for food, tremor in limbs[hypoglycemia]
•abdominal distension,meteorism, increased flatus[bowel obstruction]
•general malaise, loss of appetite, yellowing of skin or conjunctiva [fulminant hepatitis, hepatic dysfunction, jaundice]
•constipatin, faint consciousness, jadgment failure[disturbance of consciousness due to exacerbation of heperammonemia in patients with liver cirrhosis]
