成份 Pentoxifylline
適應症 Conditions associated with cerebrovascular insufficiency; peripheral occlusive arterial disease & circulatory disorders of arteriosclerotic, diabetic, inflammatory or functional origin; trophic disorders; lower leg ulcers & gangrene. Circulatory disorders in the eye associated with degenerative vascular processes.
用量 Tab 1 tab bid-tid. Sustained-release tab 1 tab tid for loading dose, then bid for maintenance therapy. Amp 1 amp by IV infusion in the morning & afternoon. Each 2-3 amp in 250-500 mL infusion fluid with infusion rate over 120-180 mins. An additional oral administration of 2 x 1 Trental 400 mg may be indicated after the afternoon infusion.
用法 Should be taken with food (SR tab: Swallow whole, do not chew/crush.).

Category C: Either studies in animals have revealed adverse effects on the foetus (teratogenic or embryocidal or other) and there are no controlled studies in women or studies in women and animals are not available. Drugs should be given only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the foetus. 
禁忌 Severe cerebral hemorrhage; recent MI; massive retinal hemorrhage.
注意事項 Severe coronary & cerebral sclerosis with hypertension; hypotension, circulatory instability; impaired renal function. Do not inject into carotid artery in advanced arteriosclerosis. Pregnancy.
不良反應 Rarely, GI effects; hypersensitivity reactions.

交互作用 May potentiate effects of antihypertensives. High parenteral dose may intensify hypoglycemic action of insulin & oral hypoglycemics.
