適應症 |
Sedation of initially intubated & mechanically ventilated patients in an intensive care setting. |
|
用量 |
Individualised dosage. Adult Loading dose: 1 mcg/kg over 10 mins, followed by a maintenance infusion of 0.2-0.7 mcg/kg/hr. Duration: not exceeding 24 hr. Administer only as a diluted infusion. |

Category C: Either studies in animals have revealed adverse effects on the foetus (teratogenic or embryocidal or other) and there are no controlled studies in women or studies in women and animals are not available. 注意事項 |
Significant CV dysfunction, advanced heart block. Severe hepatic impairment, renal impairment. Pregnancy, lactation, elderly >65 years. Children <18 yrs. |

Hypotension, hypertension, nausea, bradycardia, pyrexia, vomiting, tachycardia, anemia.

交互作用 |
Effect may be increased by other vasodilators or -ve chronotropic agents. May enhance the effects of anesth, sedatives, hypnotics & opioids.
