Prevention & control of bleeding episodes in Hemophilia A. Perioperative management of patients with Hemophilia A. |
|
用量 |
Treatment of hemorrhage: Early hemarthrosis, muscle bleeding episode or mild oral bleeding episode 20-40 iu/dL. Begin infusions every 12-24 hr for 1-3 days until the bleeding episode is resolved or healing is achieved. More extensive hemarthrosis, muscle bleeding episode or hematoma 30-60 iu/dL. Repeat infusions every 12-24 hr for 3 days or more until pain & disability are resolved. Life-threatening bleeding episodes eg. Head injury, throat bleeding episode, or severe abdominal pain 60-100 iu/dL. Repeat infusions every 8-24 hr until resolution of the bleeding episode has occurred. Dosing for surgical procedures: minor surgery including tooth extraction 60-100 iu/dL as single bolus infusion beginning within 1 hr of the operation, with optional additional dosing every 12-24 hr as needed to control bleeding. For dental procedures, adjunctive therapy may be considered. Major surgery 80-120 iu/dL (pre- & post-op). For bolus infusion replacement, repeat infusions every 8-24 hr, depending on the desired level of Factor VIII & state of wound healing. |
