適應症 |
Treatment of patients with multiple sclerosis & with 2 or more relapses within the last 2 years. |

用量 |
44 mcg SC 3 times weekly. Patients who cannot tolerate the higher dose 22 mcg SC 3 times weekly. When initiating treatment, to allow tachyphylaxis & reduce adverse effects: Administer 8.8 mcg during 1st 2 weeks of therapy, 22 mcg in weeks 3 & 4, & 44 mcg from the 5th weeks onwards. |

Category C: Either studies in animals have revealed adverse effects on the foetus (teratogenic or embryocidal or other) and there are no controlled studies in women or studies in women and animals are not available. Drugs should be given only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the foetus. |

禁忌 |
Pregnancy & lactation. Severe depressive disorders &/or suicidal ideation. Epileptic patients with a history of seizures not adequately controlled by treatment. |
|
注意事項 |
Depression; pre-existing seizure disorders; cardiac disease e.g. angina, CHF or arrhythmia; severe renal & hepatic failure; severe myelosuppression. Monitor serum ALT levels at baseline, months 1,3 & 6 of therapy & periodically thereafter in the absence of clinical symptoms. Monitor FBC with differential & platelet count. Monitor thyroid function at baseline & if abnormal, 6-12 monthly following initiation of therapy. Rotate inj sites to minimise risk of inj site necrosis. |

不良反應 |
Flu-like syndrome, inj site reactions (including tissue necrosis), thyroid dysfunction. Uncommonly, diarrhea, anorexia, vomiting, insomnia, dizziness, anxiety, rash, hair loss, vasodilation, palpitations. Rarely, depression, suicide, depersonalization, seizures, arrhythmias, hypersensitivity reactions.
