Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, supraventricular & ventricular tachycardia, atrial & ventricular fibrillation. Amp Cardiopulmonary resuscitation in the event of cardiac arrest related to ventricular fibrillation resistant to electric shock. |

用量 |
Tab Initially, 200 mg bid for 8-10 days. IV infusion via central venous route Initially 5 mg/kg in 250 mL of dextrose 5% given in 20 mins-2 hr. May be repeated 2-3 times in 24 hr. Maintenance: 10-20 mg/kg (usually 600-800 mg/24 hr, max: 1.2 kg/24 hr) in 250 mL dextrose. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation 300 mg (or 5 mg/kg) diluted into 20 mL of 5% glucose soln & rapidly injected. Additional IV administration of 150 mg (or 2.5 mg/kg) may be envisaged if ventricular fibrillation persists. |

May be taken with or without food (Administer consistently w/regard to meals. Take w/ meals if high dose or to reduce GI discomfort.). |

禁忌 |
Sinus bradycardia & sinoatrial heart block without a prosthesis; sinus node disease without a prosthesis (risk of sinus arrest); high degree AV conduction disorders without a prosthesis; hyperthyroidism; known hypersensitivity to iodine or amiodarone; circulatory collapse; severe hypotension. 2nd & 3rd trimesters of pregnancy, lactation. |

注意事項 |
ECG must be performed prior treatment. Discontine treatment if onset of 2nd or 3rd degree AV block, SA block or bifascicular block. Increase monitoring if 1st degree AV block occurs. Require radiological control if onset of dyspnea or a dry cough. History of thyroid disorders. Regular monitoring of liver function. Complete ophthamological assessment including eye fundus must be rapidly performed in the event of blurred vision or reduction in visual acuity. Hypokalemia should be corrected prior therapy. Patients on anesth. Tab Contraindicated in congenital galactosemia, glucose & galactose malabsortion syndrome or lactase deficiency. Amp Administration via peripheral venous route not recommended. |

不良反應 |
Tab Corneal micro-deposits, photosensitization, lilac or slate-grey colored pigmentation of skin, hypothyroidism. Cases of diffuse interstitial or alveolar pneumopathy & bronchiolitis obliterans organizing pneumonia (BOOP) reported. Tremor or other extrapyramidal symptoms, sleep disturbances including nightmares, sensory or motor or mixed peripheral neuropathies. Elevated transaminase; acute liver damage with elevated blood transaminases &/or jaundice. Bradycardia. Inj Bradycardia, nausea, inj site reactions, elevated transaminases, moderate transient hypotension.

交互作用 |
Contraindicated combination with medicinal products liable to induce torsades de pointes: class Ia antiarrhythmics (quinidine, hydroquinidine, disopyramide), class III antiarrhythmics (sotalol, dofetilide, ibutilide), bepridil, cisapride, diphemanil, erythromycin IV, mizolastine, moxifloxacin, spiramycin IV, vincamine IV, sultopride. Increased risk of nephrotoxic effects with cyclosporin. Risk of bradycardia & AV block with diltiazem. Increase risk of ventricular arrhythmia with halofantrine, pentamidine, lumefantrine. Neuroleptics such as chlorpromazine, cyamemazine, levomepromazine, thioridazine, trifluoperazine, amisulpride, sulpiride, tiapride, veralipride, droperidol, haloperidol, pimozide. Monitor INR & prothrombin level with oral anticoagulants. β-blockers, digitalis, hypokalemic diuretics, stimulant laxatives, amphotericin B IV, glucocorticoids, tetrasactide. Lidocaine, orlistat, phenytoin, simvastatin. Verapamil, clonidine, guanfacine, mefloquine, donepezil, galantamine, rivastigmine, tacrine, ambenonium, pyridostigmine, neostigmine, pilocarpine.
