適應症	Treatment of atrial fibrillation (AF) or arterial flutter (AFL), with a recent episode of AF/AFL & associated CV risk factors (age >70, HTN, diabetes, prior cerebrovascular accident, left atrial diameter ≥50 mm or left ventricular ejection fraction [LVEF] <40%), who are in sinus rhythm or who will be cardioverted.
用量	*Adult* 400 mg bid.
過量	View Multaq[脈泰克] overdosage for action to be taken in the event of an overdose.
用法	Should be taken with food (Avoid grapefuit juice.).
禁忌	Severe CHF (Stage NYHA IV) & other unstable hemodynamic conditions; 2nd- or 3rd-degree AV block or sick sinus syndrome (except when used in conjunction with a functioning pacemaker); bradycardia <50 bpm; co-administration with strong CYP3A4 inhibitors eg ketoconazole, itraconazole, voriconazole, cyclosporin, telithromycin, clarithromycin, nefazodone & ritonavir; co-administration with drugs inducing torsades de pointes eg phenothiazines, tricyclic antidepressants, certain oral macrolides, class I & III antiarrhythmics; QTc Bazett interval ≥500 msec; severe hepatic impairment. Pregnancy & lactation.
注意事項	May induce QT prolongation. Patients with moderate CHF (Stage NYHA III). Correct K or Mg deficiency before & during therapy. Monitor plasma creatinine.
