Indications |
Acute or chronic, peripheral & cerebral vasculo-metabolic disorders w/ signs & symptoms of cerebral insufficiency or dementia eg impaired memory & conc, dizziness, depressed mood, impaired self-care & sleepwalking cycle, disorientation in time & place, tinnitus, blurred vision, performance insufficiency, headache & fatigue. Obliterative arteriopathies of the limbs: Raynaud's syndrome & syndromes due to altered peripheral flow. Headache in geriatric arteriosclerotic subjects. Adjuvant to therapy of arterial HTN & parenterally, of hypertensive crises. Signs & symptoms of mental deterioration eg cognitive, affective, behavioural & somatic disturbances associated w/ cerebral deterioration (chronic cerebrovascular insufficiency &/or senile & presenile dementia, Parkinson's disease); decreased vigilance, apathy, interpersonal relationships, asthenia, anorexia. As a coadjuvant in the rehabilitative treatment of hemiplegic patients with ictus sequelae. |
Dosage |
30 mg bid (60 mg/day). |
Administration |
May be taken with or without food (Preferably taken before meals.). |
Drug Interactions |
May potentiate action of antihypertensives.
