Dosage |
Adult 1 tab once daily; may be increased after 2 wk to 2 tab once daily. All doses to be taken at bedtime.

Contraindications |
Hepatic impairment. Concomitant potent CYP1A2 inhibitors eg fluvoxamine, ciprofloxacin.

Special Precautions |
Renal impairment. Monitor liver function tests. History of mania or hypomania. Suicidal tendencies. Avoid alcohol. Galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, glucose-galactose malabsorption. Childn & adolescent <18 yr. Elderly ≥65 yr. Pregnancy, lactation.

Adverse Drug Reactions |
Headache, dizziness, somnolence, insomnia, migraine; nausea, diarrhoea, constipation, upper abdominal pain; hyperhidrosis; back pain; fatigue; increase in ALAT &/or ASAT; anxiety.
