Indications Treatment of signs & symptoms of OA, RA, acute pain & primary dysmenorrhea. Ankylosing spondylitis.

Dosage Adult OA 200 mg once daily; may be given bid if necessary. RA 200 mg bid. Ankylosing spondylitis 200 mg as single dose up to total daily dose of 400 mg. Acute pain & primary dysmenorrhea Initially 400 mg followed by an additional 200 mg on the 1st day, if needed; subsequently 200 mg bid or 400 mg daily.

Overdosage View Celebrex overdosage for action to be taken in the event of an overdose.
Administration May be taken with or without food
Contraindications History of asthma, urticaria or allergic-type reaction after taking aspirin or NSAIDs. Known hypersensitivity to sulphonamides. Childn <18 yr. Pregnancy & lactation.

Special Precautions Patients w/ severe kidney or liver disease. Fluid retention, HTN or heart failure.
