硝酸异山梨醇酯的白色晶体或结晶粉末，或无异味，或稍微有臭味硝酸盐如此。N，N-二甲基甲酰胺或非常易溶于丙酮，溶于氯仿或甲苯，甲醇，乙醇（95）或微溶在乙醚中，并且几乎不溶于水。硝酸异山梨醇酯迅速爆炸热或震动。

药效药理

1. 对血流动力学的作用
心绞痛患者和无痛缺血性心脏疾病，以一天2周这种药物之一后粘附后的研究通过超声心动图，与观察期相比减少舒张末期容积平均8.5％这表明（P <0.01）。也显示同样平均为9.3％的降低（P <0.01）也收缩末期容积。
2. 运动耐受量的增加作用
测力计运动试验劳力型心绞痛患者有这种药物和生物等效性芒磁带，也坚持48小时后表现出运动耐受重量显著的增幅相比给药前。此外，运动平板试验的耐受量也增加了佛兰德斯胶带。该增加的程度趋于正比于粘数，显示出阳性的剂量 - 反应关系的等离子体消心痛浓度运动耐受量之间。
适应病症
心绞痛，心肌梗死（不包括急性期），以及其它缺血性心脏疾病。
用法与用量
成人的手，固定一个一次（40毫克硝酸异山梨醇酯）的胸部，到上腹部或背部。青蛙坚持每24小时或申请后48个小时。
该剂量可根据症状来调节。
