Presentation
Powder for infusion, freeze-dried human coagulation Factor VIII with nominal antihaemophilic factor activities of 250 i.u. , 500 i.u. and 1,000 i.u.
Indications
Treatment of classical haemophilia (haemophilia A).
Adult Dosage
By intravenous infusion according to patient's weight, severity of haemorrhage and presence of inhibitors; see data sheet.
Child Dosage
By intravenous infusion according to patient's weight, severity of haemorrhage and presence of inhibitors; see data sheet.
Special Precautions
Possibility of transmission of viruses responsible for hepatitis B and AIDS; assess risk:benefit ratio prior to use.
Adverse Reactions
Hypersensitivity reactions; discontinue. Allergic reaction, mild chills, nausea, stinging at mild chills, nausea, stinging at infusion site.
