Tiapride盐酸盐是白色至微黄色的白色晶体或结晶粉末。 它极易溶于水，易溶于乙酸（100），微溶于甲醇，难溶于乙醇（99.5），极不溶于乙酸酐。 溶于0.1 mol/L盐酸试剂溶液。
药用药理学
它在体外对各种中枢传递受体的结合能力试验中仅表现出对多巴胺受体的亲和力和对其他受体的非常弱的亲和力。

Effects of this medicine
This medicine acts on the dopamine receptors in the central nerve system, and improves such symptoms asexcitement or aggression.
It is usually used to improve late effects of cerebral infarction (mental excitement or wandering about) as well asinvoluntary movements of the mouth and tongue in patients with Parkinson's disease.
Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist
・If you ever experienced any allergic reaction (itch, rash etc.) to any medicine.
If you are a patient with pituitary tumor (prolactinoma).
・If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
・If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinaleffects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)
Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)
・Your dosing schedule prescribed by your doctor is<< to be written by a healthcare professional>>
・General dosage regimen: For adults, take 25 to 50mg of tiapride at a time, 3 times daily. The dosage may beadjusted according to the age and symptoms. For dyskinesia associated with Parkinsonism, it is recommended tostart with 25mg at a time, once daily. One tablet of this preparation contains 50mg of tiapride. Strictly follow the
instructions of your doctor/pharmacist.
・If you have missed a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for the next dose,skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. DO NOT take double doses to make up for themissed dose.
・If you took too much of the medicine (more than ordered), check with your doctor/pharmacist.
・Do not stop taking the medicine without the instructions of your doctor.
Precautions while taking this medicine
・Taking this medicine may cause sleepiness, dizziness or swaying feeling. Do not operate dangerous machinery suchas driving a car.
・Intake of alcohol may enhance the effect of this medicine. Refrain from drinking alcohol while taking the medicine.
Possible adverse reactions to this medicine
Common side effects are reported as below. If any of them occurs, check with your doctor/pharmacist: sleepiness,Parkinson's syndrome (tremor, muscle rigidity, reduced movements, salivation, posture and gait disturbances, etc.),dizziness/swaying feeling, thirst, rash, itching, etc.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicatedin brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctorimmediately.
・spiking fever, tremor of the hands and legs, stiffness of the muscles [neuroleptic malignant syndrome]
・complete loss of consciousness, staying asleep for hours, unresponsiveness to stimulation [coma]
・spasms or cramps [convulsions]
・chest pain, palpitations, chest discomfort [prolonged QT, ventricular tachycardia]
The above symptoms do not describe all the adverse reactions to this medicine. Consult with yourdoctor or pharmacist if you notice any symptoms of concern other than those listed above.
Storage conditions and other information
・Keep out of the reach of infants and children. Store away from direct sunlight, heat and humidity.
・Discard the remainder. Do not store them.
