作用机制

XDEMVY is the first and only approved therapeutic for Demodex blepharitis, a highly preva lent eyelid disease that impacts approximately 25 million eye care patients in the U.S.
Xdemvy(lotilaner, eye solution)0.25%, originally named TP-03, is a new prescription eye drop designed to treat demodex blepharitis by targeting and eradicating the root cause of the disease - demodex infection. The active ingredient in Xdemvy is lotion, which is a kind of medicament with good characteristics. It can selectively inhibit the GABA Cl channel of demodex to eradicate demodex. It is a highly Lipophilicity molecule, which can promote its absorption in the oily sebum of the eyelash follicle where mites are located.
Xdemvy was eva luated in two key trials involving over 800 patients. Both trials achieved the primary endpoint and all secondary endpoints, with statistical significance and no serious treatment-related adverse events. Most patients find Xdemvy eye drops to be neutral and very comfortable.The most common eye adverse reactions observed in the study were tingling and burning at the infusion site, which was reported to occur in 10% of patients. Less than 2% of patients reported other ocular adverse reactions, such as tarragon/globulin(stye)and punctate Keratitis.
