GELCLAIR - protection from the pain of oral lesions
GELCLAIR is a mouth gel specially designed to soothe oral pain caused by ulcerations and lesions for several hours at a time.
GELCLAIR forms a protective coating around the oral cavity to shield exposed or sensitised nerve endings from over-stimulation.
GELCLAIR was specifically developed to manage the discomfort caused by oral mucositis resulting from cancer therapies.
GELCLAIR may also offer barrier protection to ease the pain of ulcerations, oral lesions or other forms of damage to the oral cavity.

GELCLAIR does not sting or irritate and is non-numbing.
GELCLAIR is supplied as a gel in 15 ml single use sachets. One box contains 21 sachets providing pain relief for 1 week. (Based on 3 applications per day).

Ingredients
POLYVINYLPYRROLIDONE – Coats the oral mucosa and enhances tissue hydrationHYALURONIC ACID (Sodium Hyaluronate) – Coats the oral mucosa, enhances tissue hydration and may accelerate healing
GLYCYRRHETINIC ACID – has anti-inflammatory properties and is extracted from licorice.
GELCLAIR provides immediate relief for exposed nerve endings and ulcerated tissues by its barrier action allowing the user to consume food and liquids with increased comfort.
Directions
Begin treatment with GELCLAIR as soon as signs and symptoms of oral lesions developDirections:Pour the entire contents of the single-dose Gelclair? sachet into a
glass and add up to 40mL or two tablespoons of water.
If water is not available , Gelclair? may be used undiluted.
Stir mixture and use at onceRinse around mouth for at least one minute or as long as possible to coat tongue, palate, throat, inside of cheeks and all oral tissue thoroughly.
Gargle and spit out - do not swallow, although if accidently swallowed, no side effects are anticipated.
Discard any unused mouthwash
Use at least three times per day or as needed.
Do not eat or drink for at least one hour following treatment
If you are performing other aspects of oral care (eg brushing teeth) please do so before using GELCLAIR.
If areas of ulceration are being treated with other topical agents,(eg. analgesic or antibacterial agents), please use these before using GELCLAIR. The barrier formed by GELCLAIR may prevent other topical agents from reaching the site of ulceration.
