临床药理学
Acrivastine是一种盐酸曲普利啶的结构类似物，在分离的组织，动物和人体中具有H1抗组胺活性，对人类具有镇静作用（见注意事项）。 acrivastine的丙酸衍生物是几种动物物种（以及人类）的代谢物，并且还表现出H1-抗组胺活性。
盐酸伪麻黄碱是间接拟交感神经药; 也就是说，它从肾上腺素能神经中释放出去甲肾上腺素。
联合使用阿克他斯汀和伪麻黄碱的动物的体外试验和体内研究未能证明两种药剂之间存在任何有益或有害的药理学相互作用的证据。
适应症和用法
SEMPREX-D胶囊适用于缓解与季节性过敏性鼻炎相关的症状，如打喷嚏，流鼻涕，瘙痒，流泪和鼻塞。 当需要阿斯卡星的抗组胺活性和伪麻黄碱的鼻减充血剂活性时，应给予SEMPREX-D胶囊（参见临床药理学）。 SEMPREX-D胶囊在季节性过敏性鼻炎患者中连续治疗14天以上的疗效尚未在临床试验中得到充分研究。
SEMPREX-D胶囊尚未充分研究缓解普通感冒症状的有效性。
给患者的信息
服用SEMPREX-D胶囊的患者应该收到以下信息。 SEMPREX-D胶囊用于减少与季节性过敏性鼻炎相关的症状。应指导患者仅按规定服用SEMPREX-D胶囊，且不超过规定剂量。应建议患者不要同时使用SEMPREX-D与非处方抗组胺药和减充血剂。应该告知怀孕或可能怀孕的患者，只有在潜在的益处证明对胎儿或哺乳期婴儿有潜在风险的情况下，才能在妊娠期或哺乳期使用该产品。由于存在高血压危象的风险，如果患者目前服用单胺氧化酶抑制剂或停止使用MAO抑制剂14天后，应指示患者不要服用SEMPREX-D胶囊（盐酸阿维斯汀和盐酸伪麻黄碱）。在进行任何需要精神警觉的活动（如驾驶汽车或操作机器）之前，应建议患者评估他们对SEMPREX-D胶囊的个体反应。应告知患者，同时使用SEMPREX-D胶囊与酒精和其他CNS抑制剂可能会导致警觉性的进一步降低和CNS表现的损害，应予以避免。

SEMPREX-D胶囊（深绿色不透明帽和白色不透明体）含有8mg阿克他那和60mg盐酸伪麻黄碱。 盖子用白色墨水印刷“404”，并用黑色墨水印刷“SEMPREX-D”。

SEMPREX-D Capsules are prescribed to reduce symptoms associated with seasonal allergic rhinitis.  It is not known if SEMPREX-D is effective in relieving the symptoms of the common cold.  It is not known if SEMPREX-D is effective when used longer than 14 days continuously to treat symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis
SEMPREX-D Capsules provide relief of allergy symptoms.  In a clinical study, patients experienced symptom relief in 1 – 2 hours of the first dose
SEMPREX-D is an oral medicine combining 2 ingredients: acrivastine and pseudoephedrine HCl. SEMPREX-D was approved by the FDA in 1994 and has a long history of patient experience

INDICATION
SEMPREX-D(acrivastine and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride) Capsules are prescribed to reduce symptoms associated with seasonal allergies such as sneezing, runny nose, itching, watery eyes, and stuffy nose. It is not known if SEMPREX-D is effective in relieving the symptoms of the common cold. It is not known if SEMPREX-D is effective when used longer than 14 days continuously to treat symptoms of seasonal allergies
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
Do not use SEMPREX-D if you are allergic to acrivastine or other alkylamine antihistamines, pseudoephedrine, other sympathomimetic amines, or to any other ingredients in the product.  See the full prescribing information for a list of ingredients
Due to the risk of dangerous elevations in blood pressure, do not take SEMPREX-D Capsules if you are taking a medication called a monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitor or for 14 days after stopping use of an MAO inhibitor
SEMPREX-D should be used with caution in patients with high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, glaucoma, hyperthyroidism, or prostate problems (ie, benign prostatic hypertrophy [BPH]), stomach ulcer, or gastrointestinal (GI) obstruction
Do not drive, operate machinery or do other dangerous activities until you know how SEMPREX-D Capsules affect you. Drowsiness, sedation, and sleepiness are common side effects of SEMPREX-D Capsules. Do not drink alcohol while taking SEMPREX-D Capsules because this may lead to additional reductions in alertness and impairment of CNS performance
SEMPREX-D is not recommended in patients with renal impairment
Only take SEMPREX-D Capsules as instructed by your doctor and do not take more than the prescribed dose.  Do not use other over-the-counter antihistamines and decongestants at the same time you are taking SEMPREX-D
Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or are planning to become pregnant.  You and your doctor will have to decide if you should take SEMPREX-D while you are pregnant or are breast feeding
