Effects of this medicine
This medicine supplements calcium deficiency in blood and suppresses tetany (convulsion, muscle spasm, tremoring limbs, etc.) caused by calcium deficiency.
It is usually used to treat tetany caused by hypocalcemia and tetany related symptoms and supplement calcium in celiac disease.

If you have hypercalcemia, nephrolithiasis or renal failure.

Possible adverse reactions to this medicine
The most commonly reported adverse reactions include loss of appetite, nausea/vomiting, constipation, stomach pain and malaise. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
