Effects of this medicine
This medicine dilates the bronchi to allow easier breathing.
It is usually used to improve symptoms (breathing difficulty, etc.) of bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis, pulmonary emphysema, acute bronchitis, or asthmatoid bronchitis.

Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist

If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)

In general, for adults, take 1 g (50 mcg of active ingredient) at a time once daily before bedtime or twice daily in the morning and before bedtime by dissolving the medicine at the time of use. For children aged 6 years or over, take 0.5 g (25 mcg of active ingredient) at a time once daily before bedtime or twice daily in the morning and before bedtime, by dissolving the medicine at the time of use. For children younger than 6 years, take 0.025 g /kg of body weight (1.25 mcg/kg of active ingredient) at a time twice daily in the morning and before bedtime or 3 times daily in the morning, afternoon, and before bedtime, by dissolving the medicine at the time of use. The dosage may be adjusted according to your disease, age, or symptoms. Strictly follow the instructions of your doctor and pharmacist.

Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.

If you miss a dose, take the dose as soon as you remember it. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.

If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.

Take as soon as possible after dissolving the medicine.

Precautions while taking this medicine

Possible adverse reactions to this medicine
The most commonly reported adverse reactions include palpitation, tachycardia, tremor, headache, nausea/vomiting, rash and itch. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.

cold sweat, decreased blood pressure, respiratory distress [shock]

swelling around the eyes or mouth, hives, respiratory distress [anaphylaxis]

lassitude, respiratory distress, dry mouth [serious decrease in serum potassium]

Keep out of the reach of children. Store away from light, heat, and moisture.
