Effects of this medicine
This is an agent to regulate airway mucus and normalize mucosa. It suppresses hyperplasia of mucus secretion cells in bronchial mucosa and shows expectoration effect to ease excreting sputum and runny nose and relieve nasal congestion.
It is usually used for expectoration in upper airway inflammation/acute bronchitis/bronchial asthma/chronic bronchitis/bronchiectasis/pulmonary tuberculosis, and pus discharge of chronic sinusitis.

Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)

In general, for adults, take 1 g or 1 packet (500 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, 3 times a day. The dosage may be adjusted according to disease, age and symptoms of the patient. Strictly follow the instructions.

If you miss a dose, take a dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule. You should never take two doses at one time.

If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.

Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.

Precautions while taking this medicine

Possible adverse reactions to this medicine
The most commonly reported adverse reactions include loss of appetite, diarrhea, abdominal pain, rash, eczema, erythema, edema, fever and respiratory distress. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.

bloodshot eyes and rash/flare/blister of skin or around mouth, fever, sore throat [mucocutaneous-ocular syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis]

malaise, loss of appetite, yellowing of the skin and the whites of the eyes [liver dysfunction, jaundice]

respiratory distress, edema, hives [shock, anaphylactoid symptoms]
