Effects of this medicine
This medicine is a long acting muscarinic receptor antagonist to improve respiratory function by dilating bronchi over a long time.
It is usually used to ameliorate various symptoms due to airway obstructive disorders in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (chronic bronchitis, emphysema). It is designed to be routinely inhaled every day. Therefore, it does not provide prompt relief of acute progression of the symptoms.

Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist

If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
If you have: angle-closure glaucoma, difficulty in urination due to prostate hypertrophy etc.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)

In general for adults, take one inhalation of the medicine (400 mcg of the active ingredient), twice daily. Strictly follow the specified instructions.

Read carefully the instruction leaflet "To Patients Using Eklira 400mcg Genuair ".

When you firmly press button, the dose counter (display every 10 times) on an adapter works automatically left step by step and changes 20, 10, 0 in turn. Confirm the counter every day. When you begin to see red line, you should contact your doctor for a replacement inhaler. When this is getting to zero, the button is locked and you can take one inhalation finally.

If you miss a dose, inhale a dose as soon as possible when you remember that you missed a dose. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. You should never inhale two doses at one time.

If you accidentally inhale more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.

Do not stop inhaling this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.

Possible adverse reactions to this medicine
The most commonly reported adverse reactions include arrhythmia and dizziness. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
