Effects of this medicine
This medicine suppresses pain and inflammation of knee and shoulder.
It is usually used to treat osteoarthritis of the knee, frozen shoulder and knee pain of rheumatoid arthritis.

Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist

If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
If you have or have previously experienced liver disorder.
If you have skin disease on injection site.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)

For osteoarthritis of the knee: In general, inject intra-articularly once a week for five consecutive times. Thereafter, inject at an interval of two or four weeks for maintaining.
For frozen shoulder, rheumatoid arthritis: In general, inject intra-articularly once a week for five consecutive times.

Precautions while taking this medicine

Possible adverse reactions to this medicine
The most commonly reported adverse reactions include pain on injection site. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.

chill, cold sweat, numbness of hands and feet, lightheadedness, dyspnea, feeling of tight chest, rash, urticaria, itch, edema, decreased blood pressure [shock]

Storage conditions and other information

Keep at rest for a while after injection and refrain from exercising on the day of injection.

On the day of injection, keep the injection site clean and refrain from taking a bath or a shower.

Even when pain goes away, refrain from abrupt exercise.
