Effects of this medicine
This medicine is an airway mucus adjuster, and agent to keep the normal mucosa that helps excrete phlegm/nasal mucus to relieve stuffed nose.
It is usually used to treat inflammation of upper respiratory tract, acute bronchitis, bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis, bronchiectasis, pulmonary tuberculosis (expectoration purpose), chronic sinusitis (drainage purpose).

Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)

General dosage regimen: For adults, take 1 tablet (500mg of the active ingredient) 3 times a day. Dosage may be adjusted according to your disease/age/symptoms. Strictly follow the instructions of your doctor/pharmacist.

If you missed a dose, take a dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. DO NOT take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.

If you took too much of this medicine (more than ordered), check with your doctor/pharmacist.

Do not stop taking this medicine without the instructions of your doctor.

Precautions while taking this medicine

Possible adverse reactions to this medicine
Common side effects are reported as below. If any of them occurs, check with your doctor/pharmacist: loss of appetite, diarrhea, stomachache, rash, eczema, erythema, swelling, fever, respiratory distress.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse reactions indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.

red-eye, rash/redness/fluid-filled blisters appear on skin/mouth area, fever, sore throat [mucocutaneous ocular syndrome, toxic epidermal necrosis]

fatigue, loss of appetite, yellowing of the skin/eyes [liver dysfunction, jaundice]

respiratory distress, edema, urticaria [shock, anaphylaxis]
The above symptoms do not describe all the adverse reactions to this medicine. Consult with your doctor or pharmacist if you notice any symptoms of concern other than those listed above.
