Effects of this medicine
This medicine turns into active form by being degraded by bacteria in the large intestine. It enhances bowl peristalsis and inhibits water absorption to show cathartic action.
It is usually used for constipations, for support of postoperative defecation and for stimulation of defecation after administration of contrast agent (barium sulfate).

If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
If you are suspected of acute abdomen (with abdominal pain).

Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)

For constipations: In general, for adults, take 2 to 3 tablets (5 to 7.5 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, once a day. For children aged 7 to 15 years, take 2 tablets (5 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, once a day.
For support of postoperative defecation and for stimulation of defecation after administration of contrast agent (barium sulfate): In general, for adults, take 2 to 3 tablets (5 to 7.5 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, once a day.
The dosage may be adjusted according to your age and symptoms in any case. Strictly follow the instructions.

If you miss a dose, for constipations, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule from the next day. For support of postoperative defecation and for stimulation of defecation after administration of contrast agent, follow the instructions of your doctor. You should never take two doses at one time.

If you accidentally take more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.

Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.
