Effects of this medicine

Before using this medicine, tell your doctor/pharmacist

• If you ever experienced allergic reaction (itch, rash etc.) to this medicine by inhaling. If you are a patient with tuberculosis, infections (except cold etc.), deep mycosis, hyperthyroidism, hypertension, cardiac disease, or diabetes.

• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

• If you are using any other prescription or nonprescription (OTC) medicine. (It is important to reduce the risk of drug interactions.)

Dosage regimen (proper use of this medicine)

• Your dosage regimen is:(order of your doctor)

• Usually adults should be given two inhalations of low-dose 50 Aerosol into the mouth at a time, twice daily. The medicine can be replaced with high-dose preparation, 125 Aerosol or this drug 250 Aerosol, depending on the symptoms. You can use this medicine up to two times (four inhalations) per day. Strictly follow the specified instructions in any case.

• Read the instruction for users "How to inhale Adoair Aerosol" thoroughly before using the medicine.
• Shake the inhaler immediately before using. An inhaler can be sprayed for 120 puffs. Do not inhale more than that.
• In using the medicine for the first time, the counter indicates "124". Spray 4 times in the air until the counter indicates "120". If you drop the inhaler, the counter may indicate an incorrect number.
• The medicine should be used only by inhalation into the mouth. It is not effective if you take it orally into the stomach.
• Gargle the throat after inhaling. (If you are hard to gargle, rinse out your mouth.)

• Missed dose: Inhale a dose as soon as possible when you remember that you missed a dose. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. DO NOT inhale double doses to make up for the missed dose.

• Overdose: If you inhaled too much of the medicine, check with your doctor/pharmacist.

• Others: Do not stop inhaling the medicine without the instructions of your doctor.

Precautions while using this medicine

• When you experience an asthma attack, take prescribed medicine for stopping an attack, or visit a healthcare facility as soon as possible.

Side effects of this medicine

• Dyspnea, hives, cold sweat[shock, anaphylactoid symptoms]
• Lassitude, loss of muscular strength, numbness/tremor in the limbs[low serum potassium level]

Storage and other information

• Do not remove the inside can (cylinder) from the adapter.
• To avoid clogging in the spray-hole, wipe inside and outside of the inhaler with dry cloth or tissue paper well more frequently than once a week, and keep the inhaler clean. Do not get the can (cylinder) wet.
• Keep the medicine out of the reach of children. Store it at a temperature of lower than 30℃, away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture.
• Do not store the remainder and discard it. Make sure the can (cylinder) is empty when making a hole on it. Do not throw the can (cylinder) into the fire.
