Effects of this medicine
Calcium antagonist action of this medicine dilates the blood vessels, decreases blood pressure and reduces cardiac overload.
It is usually used to treat hypertension and angina.

If you ever experienced any allergic reaction (itch, rash etc.) to any medicine.
If you are a patient with: hypotension, liver/kidney disorder.

General dosage regimen: Hypertension/renal parenchymal hypertension, for adults, take 5-10mg of the active ingredient at a time, once daily. This preparation contains 10mg of the active ingredient in a tablet. The dosage may be adjusted according to age/symptoms. Strictly follow the instructions of your doctor/pharmacist.
Angina, for adults, take 1 tablet (10mg of the active ingredient) at a time, once daily. The dosage may be adjusted according to age/symptoms. Strictly follow the instructions of your doctor/pharmacist.

If you missed a dose, take as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. DO NOT take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.

If you took too much of this medicine (more than ordered), check with your doctor/pharmacist.

Do not stop taking this medicine without the instructions of your doctor.

Precautions while taking this medicine

You may feel dizziness/stagger due to decreased blood pressure. Do not drive a car, work at heights or operate dangerous machinery while taking this medicine.

Avoid drinking grapefruit juice with the medicine. It may enhance the effect of the medicine.

Possible adverse effects of this medicine
Common side effects are reported as below. If any of them occurs, check with your doctor/pharmacist: dull headache, headache, facial flush, palpitation, glow, dizziness, swelling, stagger, lightheadedness, blood rush to the head, rash, fatigue, chest pain, photosensitivity, itching, swollen gum, etc.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse effects indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.

loss of consciousness, slow breathing, facial pallor[shock]

generalized fatigability, nausea, yellowness in skin or conjunctiva[liver dysfunction, jaundice]
