Effects of this medicine

This medicine penetrates affected tissues and shows anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect. It consequently suppresses inflammation and relieves swelling and pain.
It is usually used to resolve inflammation and pain attributed to osteoarthritis, muscular pain and injury.

Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist

  • If you have previously experienced any allergic reactions (itch, rash, etc.) to any medicines.
    If you have: aspirin induced asthma or its history, or bronchial asthma.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

  • In general, remove the plastic film and apply to the affected area twice daily. Strictly follow the instructions.
  • This medicine comes easily unstuck if your skin is sweating and wet. Wipe your skin well before using.
  • Do not apply this medicine to wounds, mucous membrane, or areas with eczema or rash.
  • If you miss applying, apply as soon as you remember. Follow your regular dosing schedule from the next time. You should never use two doses at one time.
  • If you accidentally use more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
  • Do not stop using this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.

Possible adverse effects of this medicine

The most commonly reported adverse reactions include itch, redness and rash. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse effects indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
  • cold sweat, breathing difficulty, hives [shock, anaphylactoid symptoms]
  • wheezing, difficult to breathe [induced asthmatic attack (aspirin-induced asthma)]
