Effects of this medicine
This medicine is a drug of the benzodiazepine group that relieves anxiety, tension, etc. and improves symptoms of muscle spasms.
Usually, used for treatment of anxiety, tension, depression, etc., for control of seizures, for sedation before anesthesia, etc. |
Before using this medicine, tell your doctor/pharmacist

If you ever experienced any allergic reaction (itch, rash etc.) to any medicine.
If you have glaucoma, myasthenia, heart diseases, liver disorder, renal disorder, or brain disorder; are debilitated; or have respiratory diseases.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

If you are using any other prescription or nonprescription (OTC) medicine. (It is important to reduce the risk of drug interactions.)

Dosage regimen (proper use of this medicine)

Your dosage regimen is:(order of your doctor)

General dosage regimen: For treatment of anxiety, tension, depression, etc., for adults, take 2-5 mL (2-5 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, 2 to 4 times a day. If you are an outpatient, the dosage should be 15 mL (15 mg) or less a day. For children 3 years of age or younger, take 1-5 mL (1-5 mg) a day, and for children 4 to 12 years of age, take 2-10 mL (2-10 mg) a day, to be taken in 1 to 3 divided doses.
For treatment of muscle spasm, for adults, take 2-10 mL (2-10 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, 3 or 4 times a day.
For preanesthetic medication, for adults, take 5-10 mL (5-10 mg of the active ingredient) at a time, at bedtime or before surgery.
The dosage should be adjusted according to your age and symptoms in any of these cases. Strictly follow the instructions of your doctor/pharmacist.

Missed dose: If you missed a dose, take the missed dose as soon as possible. If there is less than 4 hours to the next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next dose at your regular time. DO NOT take double doses to make up for the missed dose.

Overdose: If you took too much of the medicine (more than ordered), check with your doctor/pharmacist.

Others: Do not stop taking the medicine without the instructions of your doctor.

Precautions while using this medicine

This medicine may cause drowsiness, and lack of attention, concentration and reflex action ability, etc. Do not operate dangerous machinery such as driving a car while taking the medicine.

Refrain from alcohol drinking while taking the medicine because the effect of the medicine may be potentiated by alcohol.

Side effects of this medicine
Common side effects are reported as below. If any of them occurs, check with your doctor/pharmacist: drowsiness, light-headedness, dizziness, gait ataxia, headache, incontinence, impaired speech, trembling, tachycardia, decreased blood pressure, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, constipation, dry mouth, rash, malaise, lassitude, edema, jaundice, etc.In rare cases, symptoms described below may be the sign of side effects indicated in brackets [ ]. If they occur, stop taking your medicine and check with your doctor immediately.
