Effects of this medicine
This medicine affects the parasympathetic inner muscle of the eye in order to shrink pupil or help aqueous humor outflow to lower pressure in the eye.
It is usually used to treat glaucoma, or to shrink the pupil after the eye examination.

If you ever experienced any allergic reaction (itch, rash etc.) to any medicine.
If you ever had itchy/swollen eyes after applying eye drops.
If you are a patient with iritis, or bronchial asthma.
If you wear contact lenses.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)

General dosage regimen: Apply 1-2 drops of 0.5-4% preparation at a time, 3-5 times a day. This medicine is 3% preparation. Strictly follow the instructions of your doctor/pharmacist.

Before using, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and running water. Pull down your lower eyelid so that the dropper tip does not touch eye or eyelashes. After dropping the solution into your eye, do not blink, and keep your eyes closed for 1-5 minutes pressing the inner corner of the eye lightly. Wipe off any excess liquid with a clean gauze or tissue. If you need to use other eye drops at the same time, wait more than 5 minutes.

Apply as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular applying schedule. DO NOT use a double dose to make up for the missed dose.

If you used too much of this medicine (more than ordered), check with your doctor/pharmacist.

Do not stop using this medicine without the instructions of your doctor.

Precautions while taking this medicine

After applying the solution, you may have dim vision or vision disorder in the dark. If you detect these symptoms, do not drive, or operate dangerous machinery until you recover from the disorder.

Possible adverse effects of this medicine
Common side effects are reported as below. If any of them occurs, check with your doctor/pharmacist: blepharitis (erosion of eyelids), cataract (vision disorder), itchy/stinging eyes, eye pain, blurred vision, darkening of vision, diarrhea, nausea/vomiting, headache, sweating, excessive saliva, etc.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse effects indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.

Storage conditions and other information

Keep out the reach of children. Store away from heat and direct sunlight.
