Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)

  • Your dosing schedule prescribed by your doctor is <<        to be written by a healthcare professional>>
  •
  • General dosage regimen: For ophthalmic application, apply 1-2 drops at a time, 3-4 times a day. Your doctor may adjust the dose for your condition. Strictly follow the instructions of your doctor/pharmacist.
[Ocular instillation] Before using, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and running water. Pull down your lower eyelid so that the dropper tip does not touch eye or eyelashes. After dropping the solution into your eye, do not blink, and keep your eyes closed for a while. Wipe off any excess liquid with a clean gauze or tissue. If you need to use other eye drops at the same time, wait more than 5 minutes.
  • General dosage regimen: For otorhinological application, apply 1-several times a day as prescribed by ear dripping, nasal drip, ear instillation, using a nebulizer, or tampon (sterilized cotton). It may be instilled in the affected area. Your doctor may adjust the dose for your condition. Strictly follow the instructions of your doctor/pharmacist.
[Nasal drip] Before applying, blow your nose gently. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and running water. Avoid the dropper tip from touching your nose. After applying the solution into your nostril, keep still so the solution will spread inside. If you use a nebulizer or tampon (sterilized cotton), follow the instruction.
[Ear dripping/instillation] Before applying, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and running water and warm the container using your palm. Lie down with affected side (of your ear) facing up. Pull the earlobe backward so that the dropper tip dose not touch ear canal, and drop the solution into your ear canal. Keep the ear facing up for a while so the solution will spread inside. Wake up with your ear covered with a clean gauze or tissue. Wipe off any excess solution oozing out.
  • Apply as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular applying schedule. DO NOT use a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
  • If you used too much of this medicine (more than ordered), check with your doctor/pharmacist.
  • Do not stop using this medicine without the instructions of your doctor.
