Effects of this medicine
This medicine affects the parasympathetic inner muscle of the eye, and eases the tensed eyes, dilates (enlarge) pupil or loosens focus adjustment. It is usually used for iritis treatment (eye inflammation) or focus adjustment. It is also used to examine eyeground, or refraction of the eye.

Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist

If you ever experienced any allergic reaction (itch, rash etc.) to any medicine.
If you ever had itchy/swollen eyes after applying eye drops.
If you are a patient with glaucoma (or intraocular pressure high).
If you wear contact lenses.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)

General dosage regimen: For mydriasis, Apply 1-2 drops once a day.
For spasm of accommodation, Apply 1 drop 2-3 times at intervals of 3-5 minutes.
Strictly follow the instructions of your doctor/pharmacist.

Before using, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and running water. Pull down your lower eyelid so that the dropper tip does not touch eye or eyelashes. After dropping the solution into your eye, do not blink, and keep your eyes closed for 1-5 minutes pressing the inner corner of the eye lightly. Wipe off any excess liquid with a clean gauze or tissue. If you need to use other eye drops at the same time, wait more than 5 minutes.

Children: Strictly follow your doctor's instructions.

Apply as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular applying schedule. DO NOT use a double dose to make up for the missed dose.

If you used too much of this medicine (more than ordered), check with your doctor/pharmacist.

Do not stop using this medicine without the instructions of your doctor.

Precautions while taking this medicine

After applying the solution, you may be sensitive to bright light or have blurred vision, especially for close objects. If you detect these symptoms, do not drive, or operate dangerous machinery. If your eyes become more sensitive to light, wear sunglasses according to need.

Effects of this medicine may last after discontinuing this medicine. If you continue having blurred vision/photosensitivity/headache without typical reasons such as catching a cold, or feel one pupil is larger than another (right and left) on the next day, see your doctor.

Possible adverse effects of this medicine
Common side effects are reported as below. If any of them occurs, check with your doctor/pharmacist: blepharitis (erosion of eyelids, redden/swollen eyelids), itch, rash, hives, rise of intraocular pressure (eye pain, vision disorder, headache), conjunctivitis (bloodshot/swollen eyes).
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse effects indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
