Effects of this medicine

This medicine suppresses the activity of histamine to bind with the receptors in your body that causes allergic symptoms such as itch and reddening.
It is usually used to relieve symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis.

Before using this medicine, be sure to tell your doctor and pharmacist

  • If you have previously experienced any allergic reaction (itch, rash etc.) to any medicine.
    If you wear contact lenses.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • If you are taking any other medicinal products. (Some medicines may interact to enhance or diminish medicinal effects. Beware of over-the-counter medicines and dietary supplements as well as other prescription medicines.)

Dosing schedule (How to take this medicine)

  • Your dosing schedule prescribed by your doctor is <<        to be written by a healthcare professional>>

  • In general, Shake the bottle well, and apply 1-2 drops at a time, 4 times a day (morning, afternoon, evening, bedtime). Strictly follow the instructions.
  • Before using, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and running water. Next, shake the bottle well and open the cap. Then, pull down your lower eyelid so that the dropper tip does not touch eye or eyelashes. After dropping the solution into your eye, do not blink, and keep your eyes closed for a while. Wipe off any excess liquid with a clean gauze or tissue. If you need to use other eye drops at the same time, use the other eye drops first and then wait more than 5 minutes before using this medicine.
  • If you miss a dose, apply as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular applying schedule. You should never use two doses at one time.
  • If you accidentally use more than your prescribed dose, consult with your doctor or pharmacist.
  • Do not stop using this medicine unless your doctor instructs you to do so.

Precautions while taking this medicine

  • Do not use the medicine while you wear liquid-containing contact lenses.

Possible adverse effects of this medicine

The most commonly reported adverse reactions include stinging eyes, headache, blepharitis (erosion of eyelids), conjunctivitis, swollen eyes, hordeolum, eye mucus, bloodshot eyes. If any of these symptoms occur, consult with your doctor or pharmcist.
The symptoms described below are rarely seen as initial symptoms of the adverse effects indicated in brackets. If any of these symptoms occur, stop taking this medicine and see your doctor immediately.
